Photo a day November - Day 20

Work/Play - asda/food. My day consisted of putting out of stock tickets in amongst other things. The fun part of my day was going for lunch with my friend and getting lemon meringue pie! So delicious. Desserts are my favourite.

Something awesome - winning. Yes, I just went and won a free spinning pot noodle fork! How exciting is that? I never win anything so I was pretty excited to peel back my label and see that I'd won one.

Suggestions!

I leave for NYC tomorrow morning (so, so excited) and I want to finalise all my shopping lists. To all my American followers, any suggestions of things I need to pick up while I'm away?

Photo a day November - Day 18

Happened this weekend - Christmas fair and afternoon walks. There is a local annual Christmas fair that we go to every year which we love. My sister and I wore our Christmas jumpers for the occasion and I got a few nice things there. Then we went on a nice afternoon walk to the shop to get munchies today for our film tonight. Still some leaves left on the trees but they're starting to look very bare. I'm adding in a photo of my own as well as my photo a day as both show my weekend.

The last thing you bought - clock necklace. I've been wanting one of these for so, so long and I saw quite a few of them at a stand at a Christmas fair I went to. It took me a while but this is the one I finally choose and I love it.

Photo a day November - Day 16

The view from your window - mountains. This is not a photograph I took on day 16. By the time I remembered to do my photo that day it was pitch black outside and I couldn't get anything to show up on camera so I just choose one from my recent Donegal trip that I took from the car window. I absolutely loved this part of the drive, such beautiful scenery.

Photo a day November - Day 15

In your bag - I didn't really want to go I to too much detail on this as I think it has a whole post in it. This is a quick look at what's in my current bag. Lots of random things including vitamin water, make up bag, anti bac, Victoria's Secret beauty mist...

Photo a day November - Day 14

Man-made - Disneyland! I didn't really have time to take a photo on this day so I decided to use one from my California trip in June. I love the teacups, the whole set up is so pretty.

Photo a day November - Day 13

Where you slept - under my dream catcher. I remember this being a prompt (or something similar) last time I done the photo a day challenge, and I just took a photo of my bed so I wanted to do something different. This was bought for me by a friend for my birthday in August and I don't know if it actually works. I never have bad dreams, but since I've put it up, my dreams have been quite bizarre!

Drink - hot chocolate. My favourite drink, and we have it nearly every night. I don't drink tea or coffee in the house, and ill only drink coffee if there is some form of syrup in it to sweeten it up. This is what I like the best! Especially the peppermint one in Starbucks.

Photo a day November - Day 11

Night - lovely Sunday night in. I love Sunday nights. Nice to just chill and watch TV and be cosy. As its Christmas movie season I decided to watch Elf as its a combination of Christmas and NYC. Ill probably still watch it again before Christmas though. I accompanied this with some donuts, a kinder milk slice (amazing), chocolate coins and crisps. Perfect!

I've also just realised yesterday's photo a day failed to upload and I'm not amused! It's uploaded now.

Photo a day November - Day 10

Can't (won't) live without - boyfriend and my family. Family, friends and my boyfriend are what I need in my life and are the most important to me. I also think my sister looks a mixture been Harry Potter and an angry bird in this photo.

Photo a day November - Day 9

Small - baby hand. This seemed a bit harder than some of the other prompts I've done so far. Not extremely difficult, but just harder to think of an idea. Then I decided on a baby (my cousin) hand because they're so small and tiny, and very cute.

Photo a day November - Day 8

Something you do everyday - spend quality time with Marmie. Yes, another photo of my cat already. If you follow me on Instagram you'll already know I'm obsessed with him, but I love him so much and it's so hard for me not to take photos of him!

Wednesday 7 November 2012

Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

Why is this song so catchy? I got her new album, 'Red' yesterday and have literally listened to this song over and over again. I was hooked from the very first time I heard it, and I'll definitely not be able to stop listening to it for a while now!

Anyone any new songs I should listen to? I love finding new music!

Photo a day November - Day 7

Reflection - Marmie loves himself. Instead of one of me I decided to take one of my lovely Marmie. Every time you put a mirror in front of him he loves to look at himself. He's beautiful, so why not?

Photo a day November - Day 6

A favourite thing - desserts! Anyone who knows me will know I have a very sweet tooth and so it won't come as a surprise that desserts are one of my favourite things. I was very undecided on what to take for today's photo, but whilst out for lunch with my friend we had lemon meringue and I knew it would be a good choice.

Photo a day November - Day 5

5 o'clock - friends time! Since I get up at work for 5 in the morning I thought about taking my photo then but in my sleepy daze I completely forgot. At 5 o'clock this afternoon I was watching one of the funniest programmes on TV, Friends. I don't think I'll ever get bored of that show.

October Favourites

I can't actually believe it's November already, it feels like it wasn't that long ago that I posted my September favourites! As much as I loved October because it was the start of Autumn, I'm so glad that it's now November. Only 16 days until I go away!

I'll start with my make up favourites for the month. The first is my Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation. I had been using my Bobbi Brown one for ages, and I've started to use my Chanel one properly since this month. I had wanted a long lasting foundation as I hate when it melts off my face, and this does the job. If you want more of an in depth review on this foundation, just let me know! I wear the shade Beige Rose for anyone interested.

For nail polish, again, another Essie one. I actually love these! This shade is in jag-u-are and it's a lovely sparkly red, it reminds me of Dorothy's slippers from The Wizard of Oz. It reminds me of Christmas which is why I love it so much, and I really shouldn't be wearing it already but I'm too excited!

My favourite eye make up this month has been a Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in the shade Pomegranate Punk. It's a lovely deep purple/rustic red colour that is perfect for this season. I've been wearing it with a few shades from my Urban Decay Naked Palette. I'm not even asking, I'll be putting up a Face of the Day with this look, hopefully soon!

I'm just going to call this part my 'Bath & Body Works favourites'. The UK seriously needs to get one of these stores as I actually love it so, so much.

My favourite candle came from the end of the month, and it's Pumpkin Cupcake. This was sent to me by Jessica at The Mod Mermaid as my surprise candle and she made a perfect choice! This scent is so, so divine, I actually just want to eat it. I last lit it yesterday, and I can still smell it today. Those mini candles have such staying power!

I love the anti bac's from this store, and I usually carry one in my pocket at work, and then another in my bag. Then I have a bag full of them in my room. The one I've been using mostly in the house is I Watermelon Cherry scent. I really don't even need to describe this scent, as it's in the name, and it's glorious.

For shower gel, I've been trying to use up anything that I've bought on other trips, so I bought Pink Sugarplum last year, and I decided I should use it before I go so I don't feel bad about buying more (not that I ever would anyway). This is such a nice, sweet smell, which I love for using at night.

Finally, a food favourite. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Why, why must you taste so good? These are so delicious. I've been quite late in the love for chocolate and peanut butter together, and have only really got the taste for it the last year or so I'd say, and I just can't stop buying these. I have to buy them every time I see them in a shop and I wish they were in a bigger packet!

What have your favourite's been during the month of October? Is there anything you'd like to know more about that I've mentioned in this post? Let me know!

Photo a day November - Day 4

TV - Christmas with the Kranks. Rather than take a photograph directly of the TV I decided to show what I'll be watching. I've just finished watching my first Christmas film of the season, Christmas with the Kranks. Absolutely love this film and I'm so excited to watch lots more!

Photo a day November - Day 3

Breakfast - crunchy nut cornflakes. Today's photo was breakfast, my favourite meal of the day! My cereal of choice at the minute is Kellogg's crunchy nut cornflakes so that's what I had this morning, delicious!

Photo a day November - Day 2

Colour - fire. Today is the first day of having the fire lit. So cold outside and I love being all warm in front of the fire. Today's photo was 'colour' and I absolutely love the colour of flames.

Photo a day November - Day 1

Something beginning with 'C' - chocolate cigarettes. I found these in a sweet shop earlier today and I absolutely love them! I always bought them when I was younger so it was nice to find them again. I don't know if anyone else had these, but I always used to eat the paper, and sometimes still do...
