Help With My American Shopping List!

A lot of you may not know, but I'm going to Ohio next Friday on holiday, and I need some help with my shopping list! As always, there's plenty that America has to offer that unfortunately, has never made it to the UK, e.g. Maybelline Baby Lips or Bouncy Blushes... I usually try to watch as many YouTube videos as possible and read lots and lots of blogs before I go, but so far, I haven't really seen too much hype surrounding big products, am I missing something? Anyway...please comment below with any products you think I definitely need to by, and any links to reviews on them.

Hope you're all having a lovely day!

Nails Of The Day - Essie's Off The Shoulder

Finally, I've been able to wear my new nail polish! I recently bought this and have been dying to try it as pink in any shade is my favourite choice of nail colour, and I absolutely love this one.

I was going out for my friends birthday last night and decided to try out this shade of Essie called Off The Shoulder. I've used lots of Essie polishes before, but I really like this one. This didn't chip all night and stayed perfect all today until I had to wash my hair.

It goes on so easily and for once I made absolutely no mistakes so it gains points with me.

It looks best with two coats, but if you're in a rush one coat would still look fine.

What's your favourite nail colour at the moment?

Dr Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm

Another product I've been meaning to blog about for ages, my much loved Dr Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream. I always used a moisturiser on my skin, and then for a while I tried out Benefit's That Gal primer. When I ran out, I moved over to trying BB (Beauty Balm) creams, and first started with Maybelline Dream Fresh. However, I decided I wanted to spend a bit more on my next one, and choose to try out one from the Dr Jart + range.

There is quite a range of different BB creams to choose from, and for my first attempt I decided to go with the Water Fuse. This sounded like it would be more moisturising for my very dry skin, and promised to give me fresh and natural looking skin.

To use, apply a small amount to your fingertips. The amount I have pictured may even be too much for you, as some days I definitely don't even need this amount. Then, blend over your skin. The BB cream will even out your skin tone and give a nice glow. I highly, highly recommend this product as even after the first use I noticed my skin felt immediately hydrated and was much softer. Unlike the Maybelline that I tried, this actually gave me coverage, and I love this as I have quite red skin. I would definitely say that this could be worn in replacement of foundation and concealer, but unfortunately as I don't like my skin, I don't think I'd be brave enough for this!

Another aspect I love is that it has SPF25 in it, and as everyone should always wear some form of sunscreen, this makes it a lot easier to remember.

I have been using this since January and still have quite a lot left, and I use it every single day. At £18 you may think it's expensive, but I think it's worth it. Whenever this one has ran out I'd like to give the regenerating one a try, so if you've used it before, please let me know what you thought.

If you'd like to know where to buy this product, you can find it in Boots priced at £18, although it is currently on sale at £12! If you're in the US I believe Sephora stocks it and is $34.

Have you used any of the Dr Jart+ BB Creams?

MAC - Archie's Girls Veronica Lipstick - Daddy's Little Girl

I can't believe I'm only posting about this now, I bought this 4 weeks ago! I have absolutely been loving this lipstick and have been wearing it any chance I get.

This lipstick is from the Archie's Girls collection at MAC. I had been reading so many posts from US bloggers on this collection and I was so excited when it finally came to the UK. I had decided I was only going to let myself buy one product as I really need to be saving and it was a choice between this shade and Ronnie Red. As I already have quite a lot of reds I thought this was quite different.

For a start, I love the packaging, I wasn't quite sure on it when I first saw it online but it's grown on me and I find it very cute. It's very bright and colourful compared to MAC's usual packaging.

The colour itself is completely gorgeous and I think it suits my colouring quite well. At first look at the lipstick itself it looks like its quite dark and very purple, but when applied its got a lot of pink to it and is nice and bright.

As my lips have been quite dry I've been applying a lip balm underneath and this adds a nice bit of shine to the colour. It is a very build able lipstick and you can make it as bright as you'd like. It lasts quite a while too and I don't need to apply it as often as I would with other lip products.

Did you get a chance to try anything from this collection? Has anyone got their hands on anything from the Hayley Williams range at MAC? I've been dying to try some of these out!
